The car with driver can be rented by anyone above the age of 16. However, in case of self-drive, minimum age for hiring a car is 21 years and your license needs to be at least 1 year old. If you are a resident of Pakistan, you need to have a valid driving license along with NIC. If you are on a tourist visa then you need to have a valid home country license OR an international driving license and valid passport with visa stamp.

Rently will deliver the car to you at your door step.

Can I rent a car with and without driver both?

Yes, you may book any car available on our website, with driver. However, the self-drive option is currently limited to Suzuki Wagon R and Daihatsu Mira.

Are there any delivery and collection charges?

Collection and Delivery charges in case of Self Drive are PKR 500, covering both.

What are the delivery & collection timings?

The car delivery and collection time is from 8:00 am to 11.30pm in case of Self-Drive. However, in case of bookings with driver, we are available 24/7.

How can I pay the rent?

We accept cash and bank transfers at the moment.

Do I need to pay any security deposit?

Yes, in case of the self-drive option, a security deposit is required.

Where can the car be delivered?

We deliver all over Karachi. Note: The delivery is subject to availability.

What happens if an accident occurs?

In case of Self-Driver option, we cover the small damages from your security deposit. Since all our cars are insured, the bigger damages are covered by the insurance. However, the debt charged by the insurance company shall be paid by the customer. Furthermore, if the car stays at the workshop for repairs / damage caused by the accident, the rent for that period shall also be paid by the customer.

Do I need to pay a surcharge in case of a traffic fine?

Yes, if you rent a car without driver.

Do you have partial day policy?

The minimum length of rental is three hours for specific car type with drivers. In case of Self Drive, the minimum booking duration is two days.

What is your fuel policy?

Customers are responsible for paying for their own fuel consumption. Each car is provided with a level of fuel and customers have to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as they were given. We also provide an option to the customers, where they can pay for the number of kilometers done by the car at the specified rates for each car category, starting from the point the car leaves the office / Car Owner’s / Driver’s location.

Which Cities are you serving?

Currently, we are serving customers in Karachi.

Can I take the car out of Karachi?

The out-city option is available for bookings with driver only.

Do you charge different rates for out-city bookings?

Yes, the in-city and out-city rates are different and are available on our website.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment which can take up to 7 to 10 working days. Cancellation Free cancellation for 24 or more hours prior to booking date. The cancelation charge would be one day’s booking amount.

Can I register my car with RENTLY and start earning?

Yes, if your car meets our requirements, you may register your car and start making money right away.

Is there a minimum number of rides that I need to do to start making money?

No, there is no minimum ride requirement. You get paid for each ride each day.

Can I register my car with Rently on a fixed monthly rental?

Yes, depending on the requirements, we do register cars on fixed monthly rentals.

What do you mean by ‘Per day’

By ‘Per day’, we mean ‘‘10 Hours’’

What happens if I keep the car for more than 10 hours?

In case your booking exceeds 10 hours in a day, there is an over time charge of Rs. 200 per hour on budget cars, Rs. 250 per hour on standard vehicles and Rs. 500 per hour on SUVs and Luxury Vehicles.

Rently collects the information you provide directly to us through your access or use of the Services, such as when you create or modify your account, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with Rently. This information may include with limitation: your name, email address, phone number, postal address, profile picture, payment method, financial and credit card information and other information you choose to provide to us.

Information collected through use of Rently Services

When you use Rently Services, we collect personal information (i.e. information that could be used to contact you directly such as a full name, postal address, phone number, credit/debit card information, or email address) and demographic information (i.e. information that you submit, or that we collect, that is not personal information; this may include, but is not limited to, postal code, city, gender, username, age/birth date, (“Personal Information”).

Additionally, Rently shall also collect information about each User’s location (via your IP address) or when the User opts to use the location sharing feature in their mobile device. In this respect, it may be noted that User consent would be obtained prior to using the location sharing feature (“Location Information”).

Rently also collects transaction details related to each User’s trip using Rently’s Services which include the date and time, amounts charged and other related details of a User’s trip (“Trip Information”).

Rently shall use, store and process your Data and any other information collected to provide and improve our Services and ensure a secure, safe and trusted experience for our Users.
